The Gurmani Centre for Languages and Literature at the Department of Social Sciences, Lahore University of Management Sciences invites applications for tenure-track faculty appointments in Urdu Language and Literature at the Associate and Assistant levels.
Candidates should have a foundation in two or more of the following:
- Classical and modern Urdu poetry
- Classical and modern Urdu pose / fiction
- Literary Criticism (Eastern and Western Theoretical References)
- Iqbal Studies
Candidates should have completed their doctoral degree program in the subject. Candidates with a strong background and interest in research, proficiency in the English language and basic computer skills will be given preference.
