The Gurmani Centre hosted a screening of the documentary film Sanjha Punjab, a cinematic exploration that delved deep into the cultural and social intricacies of Punjab, showcasing its diverse heritage and shared culture. The film features the sense of unity and understanding among the Punjabi community living in New Zealand and prompts reflections on shared identity, belonging, and the collective narrative of Punjab. The screening followed a panel discussion where Asim Mukhtar, the film’s producer, was joined by Dr. Furrukh Khan, and Dr. Nadhra Khan, before opening the floor for questions.
