Moderated by Imad Khan, this session featured Said Amin ul Ahsan who was invited to share his expertise on modern Pashto short story writing. He discussed at length the inception of this literary tradition, how its rules and requirements differ from those of Urdu short stories, and the modern day influences found in Pashto prose. The session was one of the many initiatives taken by the Gurmani Centre to promote vernacular literatures and make them more accessible.
